"every person's life
has a story to tell"
The Role
Celebrants are compassionate professionals who specialise in creating personalised, heartfelt farewells. They meet with families during a difficult time of loss to gently craft and lead a ceremony that honours the unique story of their loved one.
"Let's create farewells that heal."
Background
As a dedicated Funeral Celebrant, I bring professionalism, compassion, and expertise to create personalised ceremonies that honour every life. With a unique background in theology, law enforcement, and cross-cultural training, I deliver services that resonate with diverse families and communities.
What I Offer
With a rare blend of theology, policing and cross-cultural training and overseas ministry, I deliver ceremonies that honour every life story.
Theology Degree – expert in pastoral care, public speaking and crafting ceremonies that reflect each family's beliefs (religious, spiritual or secular).
5-month live-in course at The Centre for Cross-Cultural Training, Melbourne + 8 years international Christian ministry — fluent in diverse traditions and Tagalog/Filipino language.
Trained to lead traditional or contemporary Christian funerals with authenticity and warmth.
Former Australian Federal Police officer — deep understanding of protocol, regalia and the unique needs of serving and retired members.
Reliable and punctual. I work with you to deliver warm and thoughtful ceremonies every time.
I was heavily affected when my mum passed away, and I flew Howard across 3 states to deliver the service. And what a service it was. Howard just resonated with myself and those who needed him. The funeral home later told us that Howard's service was the best they have ever seen. Thank you Howard.
